Forests for electoral capital
Just 3 months before the local elections, the PNL (National Liberal Party) is trying to turn the Romanian Orthodox Church into an electoral agent. Under the coordination of Bogdan Olteanu, a president of the Chamber of Romanian Deputies, 47 Liberal MPs elaborated a law draft, according to which the monasteries close to cities in Romania will be granted the forests they used to administer in the interwar epoch. Low cost companies cancel flights for April 2-4
Low cost companies such as Wizz Air, Myair, Blue Air and Germanwings that operate on Baneasa Airport, Bucharest, have announced the flights scheduled for April 2-4 have been canceled because of the NATO summit taking place in Bucharest. Sky Europe is going to cancel flights too, but only after there is officially announced that Baneasa Airport is closed in April 2-4. Passengers are to get their money back.
