A dissection
-- The tragedy occurred in Italy has made way for racism and xenophobia against Romanians in general and against gypsies in particular. But it has also got a positive effect, although no one desires it. It is an opportunity for us to proceed to a merciless dissection on both Romanian and Italian institutions, as well as on EU ones.

Romanian President paid visit to Oslo
-- Norway is going to provide Romania with 100 million Euro for projects in health, industry and child protection, which are to be ready by May 2008. The funds are settled in the memorandum between the Romanian government and the one in Oslo, signed yesterday by the President of Romania Traian Basescu while visiting the capital of Norway.

European Commission looks into Romanian privatizations
The European Commission has started analysis of Romanian state financial help given to the companies that bought the main share stocks in companies such as Tractorul Brasov, Petrotub Romania and Automobile Craiova. The Commission is also suspecting the state has kept its veto right when selling Petrom Company.
