The enraged intellectuals
ZIUA reported yesterday on the appeal authored by 50 intellectuals, some of them very notorious, expressing concern about the political crisis in Bucharest and more. The message is on a danger such as suspending and even dismissing President Traian Basescu. Of course such an initiative can't be ignored. The Constitutional Court is to decide on the action to suspend the President of Romania Traian Basescu and on the change of the referendum law, more exactly on the revocation of the President by means of simple majority.

Moscow officials don't want Romania to be part of EU

Melescanu stands most chances to become foreign minister

DIICOT ordinance suspended
Deputies in the juridical committee agreed yesterday to the proposal to suspend the use of the DIICOT (Department for Investigations on Organized Crime and Terrorism) ordinance, a document grating prosecutors with more rights.
