Mikhail Gorbachev and the end of the Cold War
Earlier this month, Mikhail Gorbachev celebrated his 75th birthday with a concert and conference at his foundation in Moscow. Unfortunately, he is not popular with the Russian people, who blame him for the loss of Soviet power. Romanian Euro-parliamentarians are president Basescu's target
In his interview to ZIUA Romanian president Traian Basescu explains he attended the EPP Congress in Rome as head of state invited by Wilfried Martens, president of the EPP. Ticu waits for meeting with Basescu
Constantin Ticu Dumitrescu has decided to stay in the CNSAS (National Council for Research on the Communist Secret Service Archive), but he is waiting for a meeting with Romanian president Traian Basescu, which the SRI (Romanian Secret Service) head Radu Timofte should also attend. Iliescu gets Scottish shower from Geoana
We can't treat Ion Iliescu as a common party member. The fact that he is standing by the PSD (the Social-Democrat Party) doesn't mean he heads the Social-Democrats.
