Romanian President Traian Basescu left Elias Hospital yesterday. He thanked the team of doctors for his rapid recovery due to which he can now "go to office." The President said: "I still have work to do for 6 more months until complete recovery. But I am all right, I will go to the office and continue my recovery exercises." He added: "But now I am going straight home. I haven't been home for more than 3 weeks." (...) When asked about what he was allowed to do this period, he answered: "I may do all I can."
According to doctor Mihai Berteanu, the President must avoid the cold and the moist. The doctor says the recovery program is rather difficult, because the President suffered "a severe neurologic deficiency", still his evolution is positive. (A.H.)
