The approaching NATO summit due in Bucharest has also got a premier in store: the North-Atlantic Alliance is going to launch an online television channel. Spokesman James Appathurai has confirmed for Associated Press that the official presentation is due during the Bucharest summit.
Most of the broadcast is to reflect the NATO missions in Afghanistan, involving 47,000 soldiers. According to Rompres, NATO intends to have 5 TV teams in the latter country. Most of the finance for the channel to be watched at www.nato.int is to come from Denmark. (P.C.)
