Yesterday the Grand Lodge of Romania was granted with the most important mason recognition: that of the United Grand Lodge of England. The UGLE is the supreme authority at Order level. Recognition from it, very difficult to get, is the supreme guarantee for a Grand Lodge regulation and undeniable proof of its legitimacy on a certain territory. The Grand Lodge of Romania mentions by press release that the UGLE decided in March 12 to take the recommendation by the Board of General Purposes, expressed in February 13, and provide the Grand Lodge of Romania with recognition. It is to be noticed that in 128 years of existence the Grand Lodge of Romania was under such UGLR recognition only in 1930-1934. (D.E.)
