The PSD (Social-Democrat Party) is unwilling to govern together with a party of the Alliance. The Social-Democrats have once again demanded the Romanian PM to come up with a new Cabinet.
But the party has ceased to insist for the elimination of Democrat ministers from a future government. As for the support for Alliance parties, the Social-Democrats haven't reached consensus. Whereas the Cluj group wants to support the Democrats, Ion Iliescu and Viorel Hrebenciuc would like to provide support to the Liberals. Leader Mircea Geoana seems to be for a minority Liberal government.
Local and central party leaders are to meet next Friday to analyze it. (...) (R.A.)
