The PRM ("Great Romania" Party) president Corneliu Vadim Tudor announced in yesterday's press conference that he would be a candidate in the coming elections for the Parliament o Europe, but withdraw from the list right after elections. He explained: "I will the candidate top of the list in order to help the party. Romania has got 35 positions. The PRM will get at least 7 or 10." He mentioned that after the PRM representatives made it he would step back and stay in Romania.
In other words, Vadim admits he will use the Euro-Gigi pattern: just like Gigi Becali, a president of the New Generation Party, he will use a trick to fool electors. (...)
It is to be reminded that several civil society representatives have warned Romania may get to be represented in Strasbourg by some unknown characters, unworthy of a status such as MEP. (O.B.)
